FIRST AID PROCEDURES—AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME Sunday 30 th May, 2010 Location: Sai Prem Today human life has become so uncertain that we do not know when and where emergency medical aid may be required. Most of us, sometime or the other, have faced a situation of watching some one unconscious or having fits/having heart attack/getting fracture limbs/burns and many such emergencies. We would have liked to help out, but, did not know what exactly to do.
Correct, prompt and proper action, taken by any one near by, can save many a lives, as well as prevent much damage. Conversely, improper action like in a case of fracture spine can result in permanent neurological damage. Our seva dals have been very helpful in Gujarat Earthquake, Mumbai deluge of 2005 and many other emergencies... Seva dals are also attending the Mobile Medicare as well as going to the villages. In order to familiarize every one with basic First Aid Knowledge, an informative programme has been arranged with experts in this field at Saiprem on 30thMay 2010 Sunday.
