Owing to acute scarcity of potable water in the interiors of Maharashtra, a new activity was planned to meet with the challenge. As is all cases, Bhagawan has been the inspiration for this project too as HE has initiated this program in Puttaparthi. Presently, two tankers have been purchased and commissioned for the purpose. They will operate in the districts of Yawatmal, Washim and Buldana and subsequently be deployed in other areas based on requirements.

On Sunday,20th July, the inauguration began amidst veda chanting by Balvikas girls. The gathering consisted of Shri Indulal Shah (Advisor To World Council) , Smt. Sarlaben Shah ( National Mahila Co-ordinator ) , Dr. Keki Mistry (Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Trust , Maharashtra ), and all trustees of Sri Stahya Sai Trust. Shri Ramesh Sawant (State President, SSSO Mah & Goa), Shri Nimish Pandya (District President, Mumbai) all trustees of Sri Sathya Sai Books & Publications Trust and office bearers from Mumbai and other Districts.
