Durga Homam at Goa

Durga Homam was conducted on 13th and 14th of June 2010 by our beloved Swami's Grace and blessings at Mahalaxmi Temple, Panjim -Goa.

Arrangements were done for everyone to sit comfortably and do Kumkumarchana while chanting the Pradhan Mantra from 9:30am to 6:00pm. The altar was beautifully set with the photos of Bhagawan & Devi. The entire atmosphere in the Mahalaskhmi temple was further charged with the conitnous chanting of " Aum Sarva Mangala Maangalye.." After 6:00 p.m bhajans were conducted for one hour in the temple.

On 14th June the Poorna Aahuti was performed between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. The sisters then chanted Mahalaxmi Asthakam and Durga stotram. This was followed by Bhajans and concluded with Gayatri Mantra and Maha aarati. All the participants thanked the temple authorities for allowing them to conduct the Durga Homam in such a holy premise. Everyone went back charged after the two day Homam and thankful to the ever merciful Lord for making them witness & participate in such a magnificient event.
